Kompan Flexotop Surface Academy. Near a decade training to install wetpour rubber safety surfacing

Approximately in 2013, Kompan launched its own brand and system of wetpour materials, after several years using all kind of solutions from different manufacturers.

To launch Flexotop, Kompan selected the best quality materials available on the world market. As a manufacturer of children’s play, multi-sport areas and outdoor exercise equipment and considered to be of the highest quality in the world, Kompan could not afford to have a product that did not have an equivalent high quality level for all complementary elements such as the safety flooring.

KOMPAN immediately began to organize a monthly or bi-monthly training event at the factory in Brno (Czech Republic), it was named the Flexotop Surface Academy.

Sometimes instead of moving the installers to the factory, the Surface Academy has been carried out in the city of a group of new installers in countries such as Netherlands, France, Norway, Chile or Japan among others.
Last week the Flexotop Surface Academy Madrid 2023 was held. Led by the KOMPAN Spain Installation Manager Estela Plana and by the Flexotop Product Manager Jiri Vrana, around 15 installers and Kompan Installation Coordinators have been introduced to the theory and practice of poured in place (PIP) safety surfaces.

In these almost 10 years, KOMPAN and personally Jiri Vrana has trained several hundred installers from all over the world, in this Flexotop Surface Academy, achieving an evident improvement in the quality of the wetpour safety flooring that Kompan currently offers to their customers.
