The luxury jewellery group Bulgari has several precious properties as Hotels and Resorts in some of the best cities in the world and the Bulgari Resort Dubai is one of the best examples.
The Italian architects Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel designed the Bulgari Resort Dubai drawing inspiration from its ocean setting to create a sparkling oasis of nautical-inspired luxury. The design captures a particularly Italian sensibility, melding Mediterranean charm with Middle Eastern embellishment.
They also created in this resort a fun and friendly playground with a Polysoft safety surface using the bright colours Crystal Blue, Jade Breeze and Viridian that were selected for this project from the wide portfolio of Polysoft vibrant colours.
This resort with 101 rooms, 20 villas, 15 private mansions and a private marina is located in the artificial island of Jumeira Bay, connected to the coast of downtown Dubai through a 300-metre bridge.
Quality and Safety were the priorities of the customer specifications for the children’s playground so the anti-sleep, cooler underfoot, hygienic, and attenuating Polysoft flooring polyolefin “pearls” as the pebbles were called, was the ideal solution selected by the customer and by Syed Wajid of Tanseeq, a leading supplier of landscaping products that has installed Polysoft at several other locations in Dubai.
They used the online colour mixer to find the desired effects that were then poured easily on site using the two-part polyurethane binder. After many years the area has proven to be easy to maintain and retains its shine like a Bulgari jewel after hundreds of children on holidays and high traffic areas.
