Luxury Splash Parks in Dubai and Bahrain

Polysoft surfaces are present at some of the most exclusive residential and hotel developments in the World and specially with some of the best examples in the Middle East.

The two examples I will present in this post are in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Bahrain and both offer a warm, swanky, safe and super-cool space for children.

Damac Hill Community

Homes arranged within 37 hectares of lakes, sporting amenities and parkland includes a private wave pool and artificial beach of turquoise waters with palm trees, food trucks, surfboards, graffiti artwork and a 750m2 splash haven for kids, all themed as Malibu Bay.

The natural choice for the safety flooring on this splash was the Polysoft’s slip-resistant, hygienic, and cool surface.

This play area is sprinkled by water jets, fountains and spouting buckets of chlorinated water that in combination with the Dubai sun shinning would destroy and fade most surfacing materials.

The beaded structure of Polysoft polyolefins deflect rather than absorb the heat, keeping the surface several degrees cooler under barefoot than other surfaces and its rich pigments keep the vibrant colours appeal for longer.

Malibu Bay opened in late 2020 and sets a high standard for future developments. No doubt, Damac Properties, the developer of the site did really a great job here.

Hilton Garden Inn Bahrain Bay

Another great example of the spectacular water play areas in Middle East.

This one was installed by Premier Q and is a small 90m2 splash near an infinity pool at the top of the glorious, sheer glass façade Hilton Garden Inn Bahrain Bay, projected by DWP Architects and located nearby Bahrain National Museum and The Avenues Mall.

Premier Q needed a full week to lay the area with materials transported in the hotel lift, but the end result was very positive according to the client.

Polysoft was again a high quality, elegant and appropriate flooring solution for the luxury hotel’s splash pad with water jets, loopy arches, and coloured squares, according to Claresa Barnedo, co-ordinator at Premier Q, and the kids may play at high level with the sophisticated buildings of Manama skyline at their feet.
